The apparatus adopts coal-water slurry/ oil-slag slurry feed through the single nozzle on the top and membrane wall as its lining depends on the slag layer on the furnace wall to protect the reactor. During the operation, the system monitors the temperature of furnace wall, fin and cooling water through thermo-couple and computer. It is used for the study of entrained-flow gasification and slag properties.
